Job Description

The Executive – Business Development will be responsible for front-end sales and strategic marketing of the company’s solutions and services. The role demands strong domain knowledge of Electronics, instrumentation, Defence systems, and embedded technologies. The candidate will be accountable for identifying business opportunities, mapping customer requirements, and driving order booking targets. This position plays a key role in enhancing the company’s profile within the Defence, Aerospace, and Satellite industry ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Business Generation
    • Understand and articulate the company’s product portfolio and custom solutions for H/w & S/w.
    • Translate customer requirements into solution proposals leveraging in-house expertise and third-party integrations where necessary.
    • Drive business growth through consistent achievement of sales targets and order bookings.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in line with industry trends and technological evolution.
    Customer Engagement & Market Development
    • Build strong relationships with customers in Defence and aerospace sectors.
    • Conduct technical presentations and value proposition pitches to clients and stakeholders.
    • Continuously explore newer applications and markets for company products and services.
    • Gather customer feedback and translate insights into product/solution improvements.
    Strategy & Brand Development
    • Contribute to strategic planning for market expansion and customer acquisition.
    • Enhance the company’s brand visibility through participation in industry events, seminars, and exhibitions.
    • Evaluate customer satisfaction and develop customer retention programs.
    • Plan and implement team growth and resource allocation aligned with sales targets.

Skill & Experience

    • Deep understanding of Electronics, instrumentation, embedded systems, and solution-based sales.
    • Strong business acumen with ability to strategize and execute go-to-market plans.
    • Existing network within the Defence, Aerospace, and Satellite industry is preferred.
    • Effective communication skills in English and Kannada (Hindi is an added advantage).
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
    • Aggressive and target-driven mindset with a pleasant demeanor.
    • Willingness to travel extensively for business development activities.
    Certifications (Preferred):

    Sales Strategy, Government Business Development, or Product Management.

    Experience:

    Minimum 3 years in business development, preferably in Defence & Aerospace sectors
